It's been 8 looong years since the Browns have played in Chicago at Soldier Field and we are here to party for the entire weekend! Here are the deets:Friday December 12th:
Welcome party at Old Crow Wrigleyville (3506 N Clark St) starts when their doors open at 5pm and doesn't stop until close at 3am!
This is our normal game watch location and they have a massive bar crawl the next night so both the bar and our club wanted to include this amazing venue in our festivities when we could on Friday. This is an informal meetup and just a good place to start partying in Chicago that weekend.
They will have lots of Great Lakes beer and specials like 6 for $30 GLBC buckets and $3 Elliot Ness drafts! They are also a country music bar and will have a live band playing on stage that night as they do most Friday and Saturday nights! They also have great BBQ!
Saturday December 13th:
The Official Browns Backer Bash hosted by the Cleveland Browns and The Chi-town Dawg Pound will be held at Tunnel Nightclub in River North at 151 W Kinzie St from 6pm to 9pm with SPECIAL GUEST PHIL DAWSON! It will be a wristband event (first come, first served) and space is limited. So get there early!
Wristbands are $50 and will include all beers (domestic, import, craft, etc), White Claw seltzers, house red & white wine, Browns specialty cocktails, middle shelf liquor (Titos, Jameson, Casamigos Blanco, Jim Beam, etc) and soft drinks as well. Pizza will also be included, and if you're really hungry tacos will be available for $4 each.
Phil Dawson will be there to hang out and sign autographs. We will have our club DJ, raffles, games, and usual Chi-town Dawg Pound craziness!
Sunday December 14th:
Gameday Tailgate with GNATS TAILGATERS starts at 7am at 524 S Wabash Ave! $40 for food and drinks included! (menu TBD) PRE-PURCHASE TICKETS WITH THE LINK BELOW! (https://www.tickpick.com/organizer/event/road-trip-to-chicago-30508665)
The Browns vs Bears game kicks off at noon and many of us will be going to the game, but we did not buy a group of tickets. So you will need to buy tickets on your own.
Old Crow will still be showing the game with sound. So if you aren't going to Soldier Field, the party starts at Old Crow Wrigleyville when the doors open at 10am on Sunday! Kickoff is at NOON, and we are still first come, first served - so you should get there EARLY to get your preferred table or a seat at the bar, and some food! The Browns game will be on with sound on all the TVs.
Old Crow has put together some amazing game day specials! $6 Great Lakes beers (16 oz drafts or 12 oz cans), half off appetizers, $6 Browns Bombs, and the return of $25 Bottomless mimosas on Sunday mornings!
