About this Event

Twentieth Century Posters is celebrating 10 years in business with an exhibition of original British railway posters from the 1920s to the 1950s. We’ll be joined by the author and broadcaster Andrew Martin, who will give a short talk about railway posters and sign copies of his latest books.

Andrew Martin’s many books include the ‘Jim Stringer’ series of historical railway thrillers and half a dozen railway non-fiction books, of which the most recent is To the Sea by Train. His latest novels are The Moquette Mystery and (as AJ Martin) The Night in Venice. He is also the author of the Substack, Reading on Trains. His website is at martinesque.co.uk.
