About this Event
This Photovoice exhibition brings together powerful images and personal reflections created by Bristol-based sanctuary seekers, sharing lived experiences of life within the asylum system.
Using photography and storytelling, the contributors explore everyday moments — from challenge and uncertainty to connection, creativity, and joy — giving voice to perspectives that are rarely seen or heard.
Funded by the Lloyds Bank Foundation, the exhibition is designed and led by our Lived Experience Advocates, in collaboration with artist Aida Silvestri, placing lived experience at the heart of both the process and the outcome.
The exhibition opens with a Private View & Seminar, followed by light refreshments and live music from 1:30pm. Join us for an afternoon of visual storytelling, conversation, and community in a relaxed and welcoming space.
