BRISTOL ANARCHIST BLACK CROSS
Bristol ABC has been working tirelessly to support incarcerated KTB comrades and is rapidly running out of funds. There are currently 20 people in prison for the Bridewell uprising, many of them serving long sentences. Two people are being held in Kent, and visiting these people each month contributes a considerable monthly outgoing for the group (along with everything else - see below).
Bristol ABC provides £50 a month canteen money to our 20 incarcerated comrades, regularly buys clothes and books for them, and pays travel costs for their family and friends to visit. The cost of essentials in prison is increasing so Bristol ABC wants to increase the monthly donation to each prisoner to £70. People are also given money upon their release so they can get back on their feet and not be dropped into immediate financial hardship.
