Artiste's Biography
is a Malaysian pianist, described by the Lucerne Festival as “a pianist who does not fit into any mold” is known for performances of striking imagination and emotional depth. A former BBC Young Musician piano finalist, and equally committed to contemporary music, she is currently in a three-year artist residency with the Riot Ensemble, during which she gave the world premiere of Alexander Papp’s duo concerto, broadcast on BBC Radio 3. Bridget is currently completing her undergraduate studies with Christopher Elton at the Royal Academy of Music, where she holds the Suresh and Richard McMillan Full Scholarship. She has been mentored by Sir Stephen Hough, Dame Imogen Cooper and Michel Béroff.

Free Solo Concert by Bridget Yee at the Royal Academy of Music
British Malaysian Society (BMS) member Bridget Yee has extended an invitation to all BMS members and guests to her Final Recital in the Duke's Hall, Royal Academy of Music . The Recital forms part of her final degree course at the Academy before she embarks on her Masters degree there. It will last for one hour from 4.15pm to 5.15pm. Bridget is a highly talented pianist from Malaysia/ She was a Finalist in the prestigious BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2020.

BMS Spring Networking Party
The concert is followed by a BMS Spring Networking Party with Bridget as the Guest of Honour. The party will be held at the historic Globe Pub opposite the Royal Academy of Music, so also close to Baker Street station. Members are encouraged to bring potential BMS members to this Party.
The Networking Party starts at 5:45pm, ending at 9:00pm.
