About this Event
The Bridge District Riverwalk Run Club is your new Saturday morning ritual! This free monthly meetup invites runners, joggers, and walkers of all levels to lace up and enjoy a scenic route along the Anacostia River.
Each run kicks off at the Bridge District with dynamic stretches, followed by a 3–5 mile group run along Anacostia Drive to the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail. After the run, enjoy our recharge zone and mingle with fellow runners while enjoying complimentary snacks, beverages, and giveaways.
What to Expect:
- Dynamic warm-up stretches at the Bridge District
- Scenic 3–5 mile run/walk along the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail
- Post-run refresh zone to cool down and connect
- Free and open to all fitness levels
- Monthly themes targeting unique communities
Monthly Themes:
- Stroller Stride with (10/4): A run for new parents and families! Join us for a welcoming morning that makes it easy to get moving with little ones in tow. All runners, joggers and walkers are welcome to join our stroller-friendly run. All you need for the run are a good pair of sneakers and a bottle of water. No special stroller is needed though please note that bassinets are only appropriate for walking.
- Pup Parents (10/25): Calling all dog lovers! Lace up and leash up for a special run where pups are part of the fun. Post-run, stick around for dog-friendly treats, meet fellow pet parents, and connect with local pet-focused vendors onsite.
- Turkey Trot Prep (11/15): Get race-day ready while giving back. An optional donation to Martha’s Table helps support local families during the holiday season, so you can feel good while getting your miles in.
Whether you’re training for your next race or simply want to move, mingle, and soak up the riverside views, the Bridge District Riverwalk Run Club has a spot waiting for you.
