What is “Breathwork”?:
This breathwork is conscious connected breathing (CCB). Breathwork is a ceremonial journey that can take you into an altered state of your consciousness, predominantly your un-conscious, or as Jung would say, your shadow, the parts that you store elements of your psyche. This is done by performing continuous rhythmical breathing, guided by powerful evoking music and language that links and aligns to the specific topic of the session.
This Breathwork:
This Breathwork is for anyone, and it works in many different ways, everyone will have their own unique experience.
The topic of the ceremony invites you to look at the Queen or King (Sovereign) archetype energy within you. But this breathwork can also just bring stress resiliance/stress relief and deep relaxation by re-regulating your nervous system.
The topic is about finding balance within your Sovereign energy. Healthy, balanced and empowered Sovereign energy is that of; knowing yourself, your purpose, vision and your direction in the world. It's about running your life in the best possible way, from your heart. The Sovereign is the part of you that makes important decisions about how to live your life, knowing your values and sticking to them.
Breathwork enables you to tap into your un-conscious (your shadow), bringing the shadow it into your awareness so you can process these parts and act upon them. Thoughts of "I do not exist", "I'm not good enough" might be driving your un-conscious thoughts and playing out in your everyday life, thus holding you back from acheivment, fullfilment, joy or growth.
An empowered Sovereign energy is full of joy, clarity, purpose and service. They are here to lead and inspire. Do you feel you could do with more empowerment in this area? Give some time to re-connect on a deeper level and embody these emotions and feelings.
Method:
In the most simplistic terms, all you need to do is turn up, lie down and stay committed to the breathing technique (in through the mouth, out through the mouth), your body will do the rest.

What to expect:
Everyone’s journey is different, but you may experience: deep relaxation, mental clarity, visions, emotional release, insights into elements of your life and the patterns you may hold.
The music for this session has been composed to evoke different elements of your inner Sovereign energy. You will journey up and down a metaphorical inner King/Queen mountain.
The ceremony starts with expansive downtempo trance that grounds you into the moment and into your breath.
Norse & Pagan sounds with evocative female vocals build your breath and energy to start the journey.
Black Coffee African house music helps to build rhythm, tempo and depth as your start to climb into your journey.
Heavier house & techno really drives you to the peak of the journey.
After the peak, the music drops and you allow yourself to let go and open.
Finishing with more expansive downtempo it’s time for spaciousness and re-connection to your body.

About Me:
For the past 13 years I’ve been a strength and conditioning coach and holistic lifestyle coach. In the last 10 years I've delved into the world of healing, growth and empowerment. I have a deep passion for strengthening and healing the Mind-Body-Soul, as-well as music and understanding the human psyche through Jungian psychology (especially archetypes).
The Essentials:
No experiance is needed, you will be taught the very simple breathing technique at the start of the session, and will be reminded throughout the session.
- Wear relaxed loose clothing.
- Mats, blankets and eye masks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
- Please bring water, and a note pad can be useful.
- Please do not eat 2-3 hours before breathing.
- No recreational drugs prior to session.
If you have any of the following contraidications, it's advised not to partcipate:
- Cardiovascular disease
- Detached retina or glucoma
- Diagnosed brain or abdomen aneursym
- Epilepsy
- Diagnosed bipolar schizophrenia
- Uncontrolled diabetes or thyriod conditions
- High blood pressure
- Pregnancy
