Breaking Sound is a photography exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Rhandy Adolphe (SAMBAranthony), part of CONTACT Photo Festival.
About this Event

Breaking Sound is a month-long exhibition by Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist ().

Through a body of work that fuses sound and sight through movement, the exhibition translates photography into visual sound and explores vibration as a shared language; one capable of bending perception and dissolving boundaries between what we hear and what we see.

At its core, Breaking Sound reflects on the idea that all sensation originates from the same material force: vibration itself. Visitors are invited to move through the space at their own pace, whether in stillness or in motion, and to return throughout the month to experience the work from new perspectives.

Part of CONTACT Photography Fesival 2026 - .

With Breaking Sound, Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist Rhandy Adolphe (SAMBAranthony) presents a body of work that fuses sound and sight through movement. At its core, Breaking Sound reflects on the idea that all sensation originates from the same material force: vibration itself.
