Zouk 1A 🐣
Learn the fundamental footwork patterns and build a strong foundation for your dance! This is the first of three series, and we will build on these initial moves and concepts in the next two series.
🔸Moves Covered: Basic, Elastic, Viradinha, Lateral, Simple Turn, Yo-yo, Soltinho, & Bonus
🔸Key Concepts: Alignment, Frame, Connection, Timing, Elasticity, Projection, Turn Out, Foot Positions, Pre-Movement, Smooth Transitions, Continuous Movement, Lead and Follow Technique, Styling & More.
Zouk 2A 🦢
Learn the fundamental body and head movements that will bring more texture, body awareness, and dimension to your dancing! This is the first of three series, and we will build on these initial moves and concepts in the next two series.
🔸Moves Covered: Isolations, Linear Head Movement (Waves/Snakes, Undulations, & Elastico/Raul), Circular Head Movement (Balao, Helicopter/Tilted Turns, & Rotisserie/Dive), & Pops
🔸Key Concepts: Close Embrace, Energetic Connection, Texture, Continuous Head Movement on the spot, Smooth Transitions, Pre Movement, Lead & Follow Technique, Styling & More.
