This one day conference from the Project for Study of the 21st Century explores the changing face of modern conflict.
About this Event

Held in association with the Army Cyber Association and the National Liberal Club Defence Circle, this in person and live streamed event will explore the changing face of conflict from the perspective of practioners, serving personnel and all others who are interested.

Expect insights both from the ground and the cutting edge of research, case studies and briefings on the current state of multiple global confrontations.

Speakers agreed so far include:

Peter Apps: Reuters columnist, British Army specialist reservist, host of podcast "Facing Coming Storms" and author of "The Next Worl War: The New Age of Global Conflict and the Fight to Stop It"

Jaroslava Barbieri: Ukraine research fellow, Chatham House

Major Nicholas Royer: USMC:founder, Downrange Military training

Dr Nicholas Wright: neurologist, fellow at UCL, Georgetown university, Center for strategic and international studies, author of “Warhead, How the Brain Shapes War and War Shapes the Brain”

Eva Sula: Former Estonian official, defence advisor and mentor at NATO DIANA

Tosh Sazuki: former Parachute Regiment officer, former military attaché to UK Embassy, Beijing

Brigadier Ben Barry: retired, associate fellow, International Institute for Strategic Studies and author of “The Rise and Fall of the British Army 1975-2025”

Matthew Savill: former UK Ministry of Defence civil servant and head of military sciences, Royal United Services Institute

Sten Rynning: lecturer, University of Copenhagen and visiting lecturer, NATO Defence College, Rome (speaking virtually)

George Barros: head of Russian team, Institute for the Study of War, Washington DC (speaking virtually)
