Jennie is a former corporate leader turned full-time writer and part-time bookseller. She was raised in West Yorkshire in a mill-working family and nurtured a lifelong love of reading that later inspired her fiction. After a successful 25-year corporate career she left in 2020 to pursue writing and creative study, including a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Bristol.
