About this Event

"Always a Part of the Land" explores how the cultivation of a nationalist narrative has shaped Canadaโ€™s federal relationship with Indigenous Peoples.

Cody Groat is an assistant professor in the Department of History and the Indigenous Studies Program at the University of Western Ontario. He is a Kanyenโ€™kehaka (Mohawk) citizen of Six Nations of the Grand River.
