Join us for our annual Book Feast - a celebration of books for children. This year we have 3 special guests as well as some fun activities that run throughout the day (and the week before).
Register via Eventbrite before the day and turn up on the day to go in the draw to win a $50 book voucher.
10am
A special storytime with author Kiri Lightfoot. Kiri will share her new pukapuka Te Ngahere i te Pō, inspired by a magical nighttime walk through the Waitakere Ranges. Enjoy the sounds of birdsong, listen to the story come alive, and create your very own ruru hanger to take home.
Ages 3-7 (but everyone welcome).

Elena de Roo is a poet and the author of Ring Ting Tūī and Wizardry to Wētā Verse. Join in with Elena as she performs poems from her latest book. Afterwards we’ll create our own creepy crawly critter poems and make a poet-tree.
Ages 6-10 (but everyone welcome).
12pm
Sam Smith is a bestselling writer, comedian, and former-dentist. Find out about his graphic novel series Miles and Jones and what inspires him to write. Then join with Sam to compose a fun toothbrushing song. After Sam’s session there will be hot chips provided for all the kids there!

Auckland Bookshop Tour
Visit the bookshops of Auckland between the 3rd and 11th of October. Collect stamps when you purchase at each store. Every stamp (after the first one) gives you one entry in the draw. Two $350 bookshop token prizes to be won.
Libro.fm - Golden Ticket
Hunt for the Libro.fm Golden Ticket hidden somewhere in the shop. The one person lucky enough to find it will receive 12 free audio books over the next year.
Love Letter to Your Bookshop!
Bookshop Day is a a celebration of booksellers and bookshops - what better way to celebrate than with a love letter to your bookshop? Write your love letter to our shop on a postcard you can pick up in store, hand it in, and go in the draw to win $250 worth of book tokens. (8 prizes country wide to be won). The competition is being run by Booksellers NZ and BookHub. We'd LOVE some of our customers to win book tokens so don't forget to pick up a postcard from us.
