About this Event
Step into your body and reconnect with your inner self at Body Temple Dance with Rev. Beloved. This free-form, emotional, and energetic movement practice draws on somatic techniques and trauma-informed approaches to help you release tension, explore self-expression, and cultivate presence.
Open to all, Rev. Beloved’s teachings are rooted in the lessons learned in the laps of her grandmothers and prioritize Black Queer Feminisms in both practice and being.
What to expect:
- Gentle, guided movement suitable for all levels
- Opportunities to move freely, breathe deeply, and connect with your body
- A supportive, non-judgmental space for emotional and physical release
- Light snacks provided and a chance to reflect in your journal
- Memory work and trauma-informed processing
Bring comfortable clothing, water, and your journal. No prior dance experience is needed—just your willingness to move and connect.
The Fall series will move through Rev. Beloved's four (4) sacred-memory tenants.
