NEW YEAR, SAME WONDERFUL YOU!
No punitive new year's resolutions here, join us in welcoming in 2026 the Body Love Sketch Club way: with art, playfulness, community, compassion, and a wonderful array of glorious bodies! This event is a bumper edition version of our regular life drawing class, with additional activities to help you connect with your body and your creativity, and to launch you into the new year feeling inspired to spend it loving, accepting, and celebrating the brilliant wonder that you are.
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Body Love Sketch Club is a life drawing class with a twist... Since 2018, we have been running workshops in which you can pose as well as draw (fully nude, fully clothed, or anywhere in between!), whilst we explore ways of accepting ourselves more unconditionally, and expressing ourselves more freely.
Our workshops are an artistic adventure in body positivity and creative empowerment, a joyful and tender tonic to feeling disconnected from each other and ourselves, a celebration of bodies in all their (optionally naked) glory, and a place for creative play without shame or judgment. WHERE AND WHEN?
This is an in-person class in London, 1300-1530. Our venue is Music Room London, 116-118 New Cross Rd, London SE14 5BA (8 mins walk from New Cross Gate overground station), a gorgeous recently refurbished arts space, with a bar and garden.
The venue is open from 12.30pm, please arrive promptly for a 1pm start. Please note, that latecomers who arrive after the intro/housekeeping and agreements at the beginning of the workshop may not be admitted.
TICKETS...
£15, including drawing materials (you're welcome to bring along your favourite things to draw with too). Advance booking required.
Whilst we welcome all genders to our events, our priority is holding spaces that feel welcoming and supportive to women and genderqueer folks, who can often experience marginalisation in nude-positive spaces, and we organise our ticket allocations accordingly. If you have any questions on this, please feel free to reach out to us.
We never want finances to be a barrier to access, if you're on a reduced income, please get in touch with us prior to the event for a discount code via [email protected].

You can apply for a refund through eventbrite up 72 hours ahead of the event. Please apply for refunds through eventbrite (not by emailing or messaging us directly).
Please note, if you apply later than this, we will not be able to refund or exchange your ticket.
ACCESSIBILITY...
We are on the ground floor, and this venue is accessible to wheelchair users. Please get in touch with us on [email protected] if you'd like us to reserve a seat for you, to bring a companion along, or to discuss any access requirements. Unfortunately, we aren't able to offer BSL interpreted or audio-described workshops at this time.
THE GOLDEN RULE...
We have one main rule at Body Love Sketch Club, and it's 'be f*cking lovely!' This means that inclusivity, safety, respect, confidentiality, and consent are fundamental principles of Body Love Sketch Club sessions and that all attendees are expected to uphold them. The organisers reserve the right to ask anyone to leave should their behaviour be deemed to be inappropriate.
