Game Inventors Lab is a hands-on creative workshop where young inventors transform pieces from classic games into original board games of their own design. Participants will brainstorm ideas, design game boards and cards, build rules, test their games, and refine them through play.Throughout the week, kids will experiment with creativity, storytelling, strategy, and problem-solving as they bring their game concepts to life.
Activities Include:
* Brainstorming and game concept design
* Creating custom boards, cards, and game pieces
* Writing and refining game rules
* Playtesting and improving their games
* Learning how game designers think and invent
Friday Showcase & Celebration
On the final day, students will present their original games and invite family and friends to share and play what they created during the week.
Ages: 8–14
Dates: April 13 - 17
Time: 3:30–5:30 PM
Cost: $100
Capacity: Limited to 8 participants
