Through the gentle yet powerful guidance of ceremonial cacao, we will journey into the body, awaken the senses, and open a pathway for what has been quietly waiting within you to finally bloom.

How to prepare for an optimal experience:
-Avoid coffee and alcohol up to 6 hours before; avoid heavy foods the day of, eat a light meal up to 3,5 hours before; and keep yourself very hydrated during the day.

Jeffrey Connors, also known as as eljeffre, is a multi-instrumentalist musical artist primarily active in New York City. He focuses both in the wildly expressive nightlife scene and also in areas where the focus is more so oriented toward healing, focus and integration. Despite these areas being seemingly opposed, he brings a common energy of ingenuity, artistry and connection to every circumstance - continuously finding that the shadow work at night informs the light work during the day.
His work with Cacao has taught him much over the years, namely that one must quiet the mind in order to listen better to the subtleties of the heart. Every Cacao ceremony ends up being a ritual into the exploration of these subtleties, and he expresses this in the way he plays music during ceremony. Attention to the slightest sonic sensations seems to stimulate the strongest sense of musical wonder in such scenarios.
Within the context of ceremony you will most likely find him playing guitar, flute, drum and synthesizer - as well as prepared soundscapes & samples. He strives toward the evocation of a sense of ancient future, combining timeless traditions with the latest technological capabilities. Doing so allows one to acknowledge the ways of the elders before our time, while also taking up their example of forging forward into new understandings using the means and tools of the current zeitgeist.
