About this Event
Mindfulness is paying attention to the present moment, without judging or reacting.
You stretch your hamstrings. You track your steps. You even downloaded a breathwork app (and forgot you had it).But when’s the last time you checked in with your actual self?
Bloom is a monthly mindfulness workshop for people who are a little tired, a little overstimulated, and maybe wondering if watching 3 hours of TikTok in bed counts as “rest.” (Technically no, emotionally maybe.)
This is your space to breathe, recalibrate, and take care of the most important relationship in your life — the one with you.
As someone who works in AI, I’ve seen firsthand how your attention is being pulled, poked, and auctioned off by social media algorithms. And as someone who’s neurodivergent, I know that traditional mindfulness spaces don’t always work for every brain. That’s why Bloom includes options and tools that support neurodivergent minds.
What's in this 1 hr 15 min session?
This isn’t “one-size-fits-all” mindfulness. This is your workshop.
Each month, we co-create the space together.
I bring a structure. We will do an introduction, letting go, calling in love and end with a celaberation. However the topics are navigated by the class.
That might look like:
- Breathwork to release stress or get energy flowing
- Meditation (with options for open eyes, movement, fidgets — you do you)
- Art, journaling, or visioning to access clarity and creativity
- Gentle connection (like eye-gazing or share circles — all optional)
- Rest, tea, and space to just be
You’ll always have choices. There’s no pressure to “do it right” — only an invitation to show up as you are.
Why was Bloom Created?
1. Your Attention’s Been Hijacked
Your brain’s not broken — it’s just outnumbered by notifications. Bloom helps you reclaim your focus and calm, even if you haven’t finished a book since 2021 - I have 10 on the go at the moment.
2. You’re Overstimulated But Still Trying to Be Chill
Mindfulness isn’t about becoming zen on a mountain. It’s about learning how to reset your system — especially when your brain’s on high-alert from life, work, or simply existing.
3. You Don’t Know How to Be Nice to Yourself
Most of us weren’t taught how to befriend our inner world. Bloom helps you practice compassion, curiosity, and emotional honesty — because healing starts with how we treat ourselves.
Who can attend?
This is a supportive and inclusive space for adults aged 18 and over. All genders are warmly welcome provided you can be respectful of others in a queer friendly and BIPOC led space.
Access:
