Nadia Struiwig is equally at home in sweaty basement clubs and discerning concert halls: her otherworldly approach to Techno via Ambient and experimental music has not just made her a sought-after DJ and producer, but also a captivating live performer. Stunning releases on the revered CPU Records and Deckmantel have proven her generation-spanning appeal among the discerning end of the electronic dance music scene. Her mixes engross with a smart and savvy, yet sensual approach to atmospheric Techno that’s driving and danceable, and has understood the importance of the head and the heel’s vital connection.
With Len Faki, Muallem, and Shaleen, there are many more stunning artists on our Blitz Floor. One of Berlin’s Techno ever-vital greats, the Ostgut Ton affiliate and Figure label founder Len Faki is one of the capital city’s key players and continues to prove his matured skills with every single appearance. Our resident Muallem digs deep into his record collection to add a decidedly physical and warm spin on Techno's woozy wonders, while Shaleen seizes the all-vinyl approach for a passionate update on the timeless charm of concrete funk.
We celebrate seven years of Ghosttown on our PLUS floor tonight. Munich’s prime bass music collective puts the sub back in bass and strikes the balance between smart and sexy, with a remarkable stylistic confidence of subterranean swing and discerning deconstructionism that make bass & breaks so dazzling. And hotly tipped Roni is here to ignite the groove! The French talent’s productions and mixes, notably her Rinse FM residency, showcase her passionate curiosity for mind-boggling rhythms and textures from Breaks, Jungle, Techno to global sounds, and of course: all things bass! Belfast-born and Rotterdam-based Kessler’s biography promises 'Techno, breakbeat & everything obscure in between.' There’s not much we could add to describe his upcoming sonic spectacle. With Ghosttown all being about community, it’s only consequent that they’ve invited lu.wicked, host and driving force behind Munich’s aptly titled Breakfast, to go back to back with GT’s very own Rompa for a set full of leg-tangling treats.
