Blitz - a nod to London's famed early 80's underground

The Blitz club of London was short-lived, yet, significant enough to be recognized for its impact on 80's underground music, culture and club kids, a.k.a. The Blitz Kids.
The patron's looks, both attire and make-up, became unique to this underground society and gained attention and made headlines. The style was referred to as New Romantic. Clothing was often hand-made or found and the make-up was heavy - all often presenting an androgynous and theatrical appearance.
Blitz Door Policy: "...it's a safe haven for the misfits and the radical thinkers, the avant gardě and the offbeat. Only the extraordinary can enter. Are you extraordinary? Dress accordingly."
The music ranged from post punk to new electronic sounds. Visage, Telex, The Normal, Japan, Spandau Ballet, David Bowie, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sparks, Roxy Music, Kraftwerk, Gary Numan
The night features performances by May My Graves & Briar Rose.
