About this Event
Thanks to generous support from The Joyce Foundation, the Illinois Workforce and Education Research Collaborative (IWERC) and Loyola University's Institute for Racial Justice (IRJ) are delighted to invite you to join a collaborative of practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and funders to discuss highlights from an inquiry into Black Student Success in Illinois.
Join us in person as we dig into a few highlights from research, hear from a panel of leaders activating change across sectors, and workshop some solutions together. You’ll have a chance to:
- Learn major findings from IWERC and IRJ’s research on Black student success from birth-career
- Hear from a panel of experts driving transformation for Black students in Illinois
- Connect with peers around how these lessons might influence your work and what we as a state should prioritize in the near, middle, and long term to best support Black Illinois students
Food will be included for attendees who RSVP. We hope to see you there!
