Hi I Im Alex . A local tour guide from Los Angeles California who loves to show you an insight into the world of ATL! This 3-hour guided experience is designed for travelers and locals who want to go beyond sightseeing and gain a deeper understanding of the city. Through curated storytelling and immersive stops, you’ll explore how Black culture has influenced Atlanta’s past, present, and future.
Beginning w/ highlighting influential figures such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Maynard Jackson, and Madam C.J. Walker, whose impact helped shape the city’s identity and opened doors for generations to come.
You & your friends will enjoy a 30-minute stop at a local market—either along the BeltLine or inside the historic Municipal Market—experience Atlanta’s local flavor firsthand.
From there, the experience transitions into the energy of modern Atlanta—featuring entrepreneurs and visionaries like Pinky Cole of Slutty Vegan, the global impact of Tyler Perry Studios, and the architectural legacy of John Portman. Together, these stories connect the evolution of Atlanta from a historic powerhouse to a thriving, forward-moving city.
