A dark retreat is a sensory retreat where light and external input are intentionally reduced so awareness can turn inward across waking, resting and dreaming states. When stimulation decreases, the nervous system softens, sleep can deepen, and insight may arise naturally. These immersions are designed as a profound inner reset for modern life.
This retreat is suitable for anyone feeling overstimulated, overworked or exhausted; people experiencing stress or sleep difficulties; meditators wishing to explore dream-yoga and deep sleep awareness; and curious locals or travellers seeking a meaningful inner retreat without leaving Brisbane. No prior meditation experience is required.
