Al Porter
After six years, Al Porter returns better than ever. His new stand up is personal and hilarious and has to be seen to be believed. In 2017, Al was accused of inappropriate behaviour dating back to when he was 19 and 21. Now he’s 31 and he brings a unique perspective and big laughs to that story of early success, f*cking up and changing for the better to turn your life around.
Following a sold-out Edinburgh Fringe run in 2023, gigs at top festivals alongside John Bishop and Jim Jefferies, supporting Reginald D Hunter on his UK tour (2024), three sold out Vicar Sts this year, a nationwide Irish tour and writing and directing Dublin’s 30lympia Panto, Al is back bringing big laughs!
His new tour show is selling out all over the country and features in Bite The Bullet Comedy Club on 16 May.

Edwin Sammon
Comedian & Presenter Edwin Sammon is an Offaly native and has established himself as one of the most popular comedians in the country over the last few years his unpredictable and crowd pleasing style saw him win the Tedfest Golden Toilet Duck award in 2011 and led to him supporting the likes of Jason Byrne Phil Jupitus and Ardal O’Hanlon while performing at major festivals and comedy clubs across Ireland and the U.K.
Comedian & Presenter Edwin later went on to appear on RTE’s New Comedy Awards and in 2013 he was part of the sold out nationwide “Lads Of Comedy ” tour. Edwin has also starred as Fr. Gabriel in RTE’s latest sitcom ” Bridget and Eamon ” and has been touring his first stand up special “Edwin Sammon vs Cancer ” while taking over the news desk on Republic Of Telly.

Breda Hegarty
Breda Hegarty is a comedian & actor. She’s featured in the TV comedy series Bridget & Eamon Irish film The Closing and legendary Irish soap opera Ros na Rún.
James Cadden
Despite his appearance he is not in a Proclaimers tribute band nor as he ever attempted to walk 500 miles for anything especially a fleeting romantic encounter which would probably result in nothing more than swollen feet. Monaghan born James doesn’t tiptoe around. Cadden does not disappoint!
It promises to be a night of unforgettable stand-up comedy upstairs at the Cat and Cage - hosted by the brilliant Darren Gaffney.
