“Did you ever hear so sweet, as the birds in the spring?”Sit around the campfire in the open air and experience the magic of dusk birdsong in a private Kent nature reserve, with live folk music and storytelling. Local folk singer Helena Day will be joined by a talented cohort of musicians as well as nature and folk history writer Andrew Millham for an unforgettable spring evening in appreciation of our wonderful birds.
What to expect :
To commence the evening, nature writer Andrew Millham, author of ‘Singing Like Larks’ will read excerpts from his book and share some favourite traditional folk songs.
Following that will be more live music and stories with Helena Day on vocals, Phoebe Harty on cello, Tom Stephenson on guitar and banjo and Nick Hann on flute.
This nature reserve is not usually open to the public, and the event is limited to just 35 guests, creating a rare and intimate experience. Book now to avoid missing out.
