About this Event
Join Dublin City Council's Biodiversity and Bikes Team for an exciting guided cycle from the Tolka Greenway to the North Bull Island, exploring the unique landscapes and wildlife of Dublin Bay UNESCO Biosphere along the way.
We'll meet at the Sails Statue (corner of Alfie Byrne Road and Clontarf Prom) before cycling along the Dublin Port Tolka Greenway for a view of the Biosphere before continuing along the coastal cycle path to the Causeway road and the North Bull Island. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to spot coastal birds and waders, emerging wildflowers, and learn about ongoing conservation efforts from dedicated volunteers and rangers.
We’ll finish with a relaxed picnic on Dollymount Beach. Please bring what you need for a comfortable 5 km cycle, along with some food to enjoy and share as we chat about biodiversity, the biosphere, and the importance of protecting these special habitats.
