About this Event
We’ll roll out together at a casual, no-drop pace through Downtown, using bike lanes and shared‑use corridors as we make our way toward the iconic Los Angeles Central Library — part of the Los Angeles Public Library Network.
This community ride highlights cycling as a practical way to navigate LA while celebrating public spaces as hubs for learning, creativity, and community.
Upon arrival at the library, participants will enjoy a special Docent Tour, including a visit to the Central 100 gallery exhibit. This experience offers a unique opportunity to explore the library’s rich history, architecture, and cultural significance.
This ride is a great opportunity to:
- Explore the Los Angeles Public Library's history and cultural significance
- Discover all the services and amenities available at the library
- Build confidence riding in a supportive group, for new and returning riders
- Connect with fellow riders and neighbors
- Foster a community and increase use of local library spaces
