About this Event
Led by Grief Educator and visual artist Diana Calderon, this one-day retreat is an invitation for women who are processing personal and collective grief. In times of uncertainty and upheaval, grief can feel close to the surface, activated by memories, loss, and ongoing trauma. At times like this, common advice for coping may not fully support what you’re experiencing.
This retreat offers space to gently explore what grief is and how we can care for ourselves and one another while moving through it. Through creative, body-based practices, participants will reconnect with their inner wisdom, gently engage their emotions, and experience how play and creativity can support healing.
Participants will engage in mindful breathing and movement, expressive writing, handmade journal-making, and some painting; practices that encourage emotional awareness, bodily connection, and compassionate self-expression.
You will leave this one-day retreat with practical tools, creative practices, and a deeper understanding of grief, supporting you in navigating daily life with greater confidence, care, and compassion for yourself and others.
