Beyond the Pencil: Watercolour Drawing Workshop
Unlock new drawing techniques and discover the art of watercolour portraits with Assemblage Collective, inspired by the RSA’s incredible archive. This workshop is open to total beginners as well as those looking to take their drawing further.
Inspired by watercolour paintings in the RSA archive, create your own portrait drawings using watercolour pencils and markers on paper. Learn how to construct a portrait drawing then how to simply create a sense of realism through tone and colour.
By the end of the workshop, you will have created one watercolour portrait and have an understanding of how the RSA's works on paper were made.
Nervous about coming along? Don't be! We'll be sharing beginner-friendly techniques and tips to ease you into the process.
