An evening of spine-tingling songs from the glorious London Bulgarian Choir led by Dessislava Stefanova, and heart-stirring stories from A Spell In Time, to celebrate the launch of Moni Georgieva Sheehan's ground-breaking book, Beyond Nine Forests: Tales of Hidden Bulgaria. This stunning collection of Bulgarian traditional tales explores the hidden world of Bulgarian myth and folklore, a world of seductive dragons, magical women, giant-hearted heroes, vampires and demons of the night. Translated and retold from authentic sources, these tales are little known in the West and cross the boundaries of time and space to speak to the heart, mind and soul. With a foreword by Professor Ronald Hutton, the book features full-colour artwork from some of Bulgaria’s finest artists.
