About this Event
The Best Day Ever film is based in Richmond, VT, in the same small town that Bivo is based in. We are proud to have the chance to screen the Best Day Ever at the DC REI to highlight the amazing community, trails, and athletes Vermont has and what they have created.
Set in the Green Mountains, Best Day Ever is a story of grit, independence, and what’s possible when community and creativity come together. At its heart is the world’s first fully adaptive trail network—built to prove that everyone belongs outside.
Visually stunning and emotionally powerful, Best Day Ever challenges perceptions of disability and celebrates community.
The fee of $5 for this film is to reserve your spot, and all of the funds will be donated to support the Best Day Ever film and their mission. They are raising funds to expand adaptive trails and equipment access—because for a wheelchair user, a mountain bike isn’t just fun. It’s freedom.
The film will begin at 6:00pm, and at the conclusion of the film we will have an open Q&A with Berne Broudy, the Co-Director & Producer.
