Housebroken's annual daytime reunion picnic is back for our 9th year at Meditation Point just South of the Hollywood Beach Pier on the lawn!This summertime, LGBTQ & Family friendly event has been a favorite for many of our fans through the years and is intended as a way to introduce our changing family to you and yours.
We also picked a date this year that falls right smack on Joe Buddha's birthday. Like we needed something else to celebrate...

With a career spanning more than two decades Mike Bledsoe has been called a natural selection among many other names. While Dj, promoter, producer, manager and talent agent are all accurate titles they only serve to pigeonhole an artist who has spent his entire career shunning labels. Some may use the term renaissance man, but perhaps purveyor of all things electronic would be more accurate. A shapeshifting performer with strong genre bending capabilities, Mike is equally adept at providing pumping house beats, after hours techie vibes and bass heavy breakbeat to crowds from Cape Town, South Africa to LA. Well established in the international underground electronic music community, Mike has uplifted crowds on 3 continents and 26 US states alone. He currently holds a weekly residency at Innjoy in Chicago and is touring nationwide.
Keeping with the Purveyor moniker, Bledsoe has production releases on labels Subwoofer Laboratory (Berlin) and Fresh and Paid Records (Denver) and is currently working in the Artispure studio in Chicago. Additionally, he serves as head honcho and resident booty shaker for Housebroken Events where he hosts a who’s who of house & breakbeats elite at events in San Francisco and Chicago with more to come in Nashville. Never content with complacency, Mike can be found on any given day, night or early morning rocking crowds via his several residencies, featured guest radio shows and nightclubs throughout America. Be on the lookout for this rising star as he continues his overnight success… just as he has been doing for over 25 years.
⭐️ MATHIS MEGA M. ROUSSEAU [Housebroken]
DJ Mathis ”Mega M.” Rousseau was born and raised in the great city of Chicago.
His love of Housemusic began when he heard mixes on the radio in the mid 80’s. In the late 80’s and early 90’s while living in Harvey, Illinois, he started spinning. In ’92 he moved to Evanston, Illinois that is where he improved his skills on the 1’s and 2’s. After which, he started making mixtapes and doing Houseparties in ’93. By 1997 and 1998, Dj Mathis “Mega M.” Rousseau had two residencies. His first was at the “The Stuff Lounge” in Chicago Heights, Illinois on Tuesday nights and his second was at Biddy Mulligans’ on the northside of Chicago on Thursday nights.
After an eleven-year break, in 2010 DJ Mathis “Mega M.” Rousseau emerged back on the House scene with a vengeance. He has had sets at Smartbar, Primary, Evil Olive, Grandbar, Castle, DoorNo.3, Swig, Crocodile Lounge, Xippo, Exit, Zhou B. Art Center, Lokal, Output Lounge, Sub-T, The Celebrity Lounge, DHS, MLounge, Elbo Room, and Parlour. He has worked with over 30 well-known Chicago and some internationally known House DJs’.He also has played at the 2013 Winter Music Conference in Miami and Chicago's House of Sol 2013. DJ Mathis “Mega M.” Rousseau brings energy, excitement and exuberance to any dance floor. He is a legend in the making!

This party is funded in part by your donations. We suggest $10 per person and will accept cash, cash app $HousebrokenEvents or Zelle [email protected].
We also expect everyone to respect their neighbor and the lakefront by leaving no trace. There is only so much we can clean up ourselves at 10 o'clock at night, so please do your part.
We will provide some snacks, but this is a BRING YOUR OWN everything you need for a fantastic day kinda party. Hammocks, Chairs, Blankets, Food & Drinks (cups & ice), coolers, kites and balls, Anything goes out here! Just keep your alcoholic beverages out of site in a cup.
Parking is tough. Arrive early and plan to stay late. Have your driver go North on Lake Shore Drive to the Bryn Mawr exit. At the curve before you go under the bridge, stop and drop off your stuff and people to carry it up the path towards the lighthouse. Then go park or send your driver on the way.
