BDSM Basics- A Beginner's 101

This class is being developed as a consistently repeatable course designed to educate and raise awareness for Kink and BDSM activities. Multiple educators from KinkEd Atlanta and the Atlanta Dungeon Sisterhood are currently workshopping this presentation. The end goal is an accurate and uniformly presented entry level course for the new or curious that can be taught by multiple presenters on a recurring basis.

This class is specifically designed to be a very basic 101 level workshop intended to guide and offer resources for those curious in kink and BDSM. We discuss common vocabulary and meanings, behavior expectations in kink spaces, and how to find other kinky folks. Safety, consent, negotiations, and other key BDSM principals are all underscored for a smoother transition into the kink scene. Madam Jess is a Professional Dominatrix with the Atlanta Dungeon Sisterhood where She serves as the Assistant Manager, Event Coordinator, and Education Director.  In addition, She is the Founder and Owner of KinkEd Atlanta, a membership based organization focusing on kink and BDSM education.  She can often be found around Atlanta events or attending conferences with her girl Sorin.

After attending Her first few events in 2002, Madam Jess explored BDSM privately until returning to the Atlanta scene in 2012.  She identifies as a pansexual polyamorous Sadomasochistic greedy Taurus who loves good food, curiosity, and creativity.  Her favorite kinky passions are all forms of bondage, total power exchange, and studying the intersection of pleasure and pain.

Domme Carog Liath is a dominant woman with over 40 years in the lifestyle. She is socially active in the Atlanta community and is always happy to share her own experiences with newbies and the kink curious.
