Amusement Audio returns bigger, bassier and BITIER 🔊👾After the huge success of BASS @ THE BIRD, Amusement Audio is back for another heavyweight Drum & Bass takeover — this time invading the legendary Goodwill Basement Club at The Rechabite for a full-scale arcade-inspired bass experience.
Celebrating 10 years of Glitch City and Amusement Audio, BASS @ THE BITE brings together a stacked lineup of selectors, and bass weight specialists for a night dedicated to deep low-end pressure and high-energy Drum & Bass culture.
And this one is going to hit harder.
Perth’s very own Traction Soundsystem will be installed inside the venue, transforming Goodwill into a true bass pressure chamber. Built by bass heads for bass heads, the Traction rig is designed to deliver chest-rattling sub frequencies and an immersive dancefloor experience that puts the music front and centre exactly how it should be heard.
From classic jungle influences and rolling tech pressure through to modern dancefloor, jump-up, rollers and liquid, expect a full-spectrum journey delivered LOUD on a serious sound system.

One of the standout names in modern dancefloor Drum & Bass, Glitch City first broke through in 2016 as the debut signing to The Prototypes’ Get Hype Records. His breakout single Black Hole Skank premiered via BBC Radio 1 and UKF, launching a release catalogue supported by heavyweights including Sub Focus, Calyx & Teebee, Andy C, Matrix & Futurebound, DJ Hype, and DJ SS.
With releases across Technique Recordings, Viper Recordings, ProgRAM, Formation Records, and collaborations with DJ Rap, Glitch continues to push high-energy forward-thinking sounds worldwide. Performance highlights include Fabric London residency, World of Drum & Bass USA Tour, and appearances at Let It Roll. Expect exclusives, promos, and peak-time pressure.
DIMINISH 🎤🎧
Also known as MC Xsessiv, London-born and Perth-raised Diminish has been a cornerstone of the WA Drum & Bass scene since the late ’90s. From early rave culture appearances to becoming the youngest official resident MC across major Perth promoters including MFI, Delirium, Rise, Origin Fields, Boomtick Events and more, his influence runs deep.
Personally selected as MC for Pendulum’s Hold Your Colour tour and touring alongside Sigma, he’s also been requested by legends including LTJ Bukem, Danny Byrd, Culture Shock, S.P.Y., and DJ Marky. With releases on Fokuz, Central Station, Interphase, Xelon, and Takeoff Recordings, expect a powerful journey bridging eras from foundational classics to modern selections.
AGAINST ODDS
Against Odds is a Perth-based drum & bass artist known for delivering high-intensity sets that blend dancefloor energy with darker neurofunk influences.
Having supported names including Friction, Hedex, State of Mind, Black Sun Empire, Mefjus and more. Against Odds is the co-founder of ProtoCode Music, a Perth-based electronic music label. With multiple releases already under his belt and more currently in the works, Against Odds continues to develop a sound built for both the dancefloor and deeper late-night atmospheres.
DR TELEFUNKEN
Architect of Traction Soundsystem and a longstanding figure in the Perth bass scene, DR TELEFUNKEN combines technical turntable skill with a catalogue of original productions and tech roller selections. Having supported artists including Alix Perez, SpectraSoul, Dub FX, Mampi Swift, Black Sun Empire and Opiuo, his sets deliver precision mixing, forward-thinking sound design and powerful low-end pressure shaped by over a decade behind the decks.
Showcasing his debut EP on Amusement Audio loud and live on the rig, this one is not to be missed.
SMOKESCREEN (Traction Sound)
A dedicated bass music advocate and founder of Traction Soundsystem, known for versatile Drum & Bass selections spanning soulful liquid through to heavyweight rollers.
Smokescreen blends familiar tracks with creative layering and experimentation to shape immersive dancefloor atmospheres. Following recent appearances at Rain Dance and Blossom Festivals, he brings deep selections and system-focused energy to the Traction Soundsystem experience.

ROWDY
Rowdy is a Perth drum and bass heavyweight, active since 2004 as both a DJ and promoter. Rising from Heat Nightclub’s “Young Gunz” nights to commanding stages at iconic venues like The Rise, Villa, Metro City, and The Rosemount, he’s become a respected force in the scene.
Known for supporting international acts including DJ Fresh, Nicky Blackmarket, and Serial Killaz. Rowdy delivers authentic, heavy-hitting drum and bass every time he steps behind the decks.
Expect a fully immersive night of bass culture, heavyweight sound and community energy as Amusement Audio transforms The Rechabite basement into a late-night Drum & Bass playground.
