ABOUT BAP
Black Arts Production (BAP) Theatre Ltd was founded in 1992, at a time it was felt that there was a lack of opportunity available for black and ethnic minorities interested in performing on TV and in theatre. This, we feel, is still the case. We aim to educate those minorities who are interested in the arts; train them in all aspects of theatre performance; and use drama as a catalyst to bring about awareness of social issues that affect our communities.
Students will not only work with BAP tutors but also with directors, professional actors, set designers, stage managers and writers working in the profession.
Past students have included Letitia Wright (Black Panther and The Avengers) and Duayne Boachie (Blue Story Movie and Hollyoaks).
If you are interested or curious, why not join us and start your journey with us :)
