About this Event
Join us for an afternoon of conversation and music with rock/blues legend Linwood Taylor.
Linwood picked up his first guitar at 13 and never looked back, drawing inspiration from the British Invasion, DC’s own Bad Brains, and a wide range of other influences—with the Blues ultimately opening the most doors for him. Over the last six decades, he has rubbed elbows with rock icons like Robert Plant, toured the world, and shared the stage with Blues greats such as Lonnie Mack, Albert Collins, Luther Allison, Joe Louis Walker, and R&B legend Sam Moore.
For the past 30 years, Linwood has been a mainstay on the DC music circuit, thrilling audiences with his fiery guitar work and soulful vocals—rocking the blues as only he can. Join us as Linwood Taylor shares his music and his journey from military brat growing up in the DC area to guitar hero, and enjoy a few rare solo performances in an intimate setting.
