About this Event
Join Anima Mundi Herbalist Marisa Clementi on Wednesday, April 8 for this hands-on workshop exploring the ancient medicine system from India.
The Ayurvedic approach to health and wellbeing is based on nature’s rhythms and laws, and the understanding that humans - as a part of nature - are governed by those same principles. Just as each flower is unique, each person has unique needs for maintaining health.
In this class we'll learn about the meaning of Kapha season and explore daily rituals and foods that can support energy and balance during this transitional time. You will also make your own invigorating and cleansing Ayurvedic herbal face and body scrub to take home!
In this workshop, you'll learn:
- how to discover your unique constitution, aka Dosha
- gain a preliminary understanding of how to recognize imbalances within yourself
- how to use food and lifestyle practices to support your well-being during Springtime
Space is very limited, so please purchase tickets in advance. Refunds accepted up to 24 hours prior to event. Day-of refunds or no call no shows will not be processed.
