About this Event
A facilitated (face to face) session for parents with autistic children to meet professionals and share ideas, run by the Speech and Language therapist (SaLT).
This session is open to parents of children with autism who are known to Hackney Ark Services.
Speech and Language therapists specialise in supporting interaction and communication. A speech Therapist can help you think about how you and your child communicate with each other, and can help you think about ways to improve this.
Timings: 13:00 – 14:00 ( group discussion)
Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
If you are no longer able to join this workshop, please cancel your place so others are able to join instead.
There will be opportunities for parents to share their experiences of supporting their children and discuss some practical strategies to support them.
