About this Event

See How They Fall, written by lawyer-turned-author Rachel Paris, has been touted as ‘Big Little Lies meets Succession’ and ‘one for the fans of The White Lotus’. A Master of Creative Writing graduate, join Rachel on campus as she discusses her thrilling debut novel on 4 December.

This event is brought to you by the Virtual Book Club.
Event Details:

Rachel will speak about the development of her work, the influences that informed her writing, and the experience of completing a first book. She will also take questions and reflect on the early stages of establishing a writing career. Whether you are familiar with her work or interested in contemporary New Zealand writing, we invite you to be part of this engaging and thoughtful conversation.

Schedule:

  • Doors open: 5:30 pm
  • Presentation: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
  • Book signing with tea, coffee and desserts: 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
