Divya and Simon do longer sets on their time in Berlin. When they aren’t stealing jobs, they write jokes on dating, bureaucracy, and navigating life in the poor but sexy city. It’s a blend of dirty, dark and raw material - rest assured you won’t be hearing about the U8 and Berghain here.
Divya Mirlay is a South Indian comedian from Bangalore who moved to Berlin in 2021. By day, she works in advertising: like Don Draper from Mad Men, but with considerably less womanizing. But after, she works on jokes that bring shame to her family - something she considers a personal triumph.
Simon Gonzales is a half-Swedish, half-Spanish comedian with the dark past of Lord Voldemort and the innocence of a labrador that always performs with the passion of a flamenco dancer and has the ability to assemble jokes the way a true Swede assembles IKEA furniture; struggling and cursing more than he should.
