About this Event
Attitude of Gratitude: Creative Writing Workshop with Poet Zainab Hussain
Research shows that practicing gratitude has a positive affect on both physical and mental health. Expressing gratitude every day can improve sleep and immunity, and can decrease depression, anxiety, chronic pain and disease!
Cultivating an attitude of gratitude is simple, and with practice, it can become a life-changing habit. The act of writing is an important tool because when we write poetry we are connected to our emotions and bringing them to life in a meaningful and accessible way. Whether you are a seasoned writer or want to try creative writing for the first time, this workshop will be beneficial for you as you enter the new year and build new positive habits.
