Caleb Hurd is a FinOps Manager at a Tech Company and the founder and principal consultant at CostOps.cloud, where he helps companies wring waste out of their cloud bills. He came to FinOps the long way around — starting as a software developer and moving through DevOps and security engineering before building and leading Chick-fil-A's first SRE team and later helping run Citrix Cloud. That engineering lineage shapes his take on FinOps: the best cost decisions are made by the people closest to the code.

He has guided teams at Adthena, Procore, NetSuite, Accenture, Oracle, and IBM through major growth stages and successful exits, giving him firsthand insight into how technology choices shape financial performance. In his spare time, Goel is an avid traveler who enjoys tennis, golf, and lake time in Austin.
