This month's Astro on Tap (AoT) will be at Two Pitcher Oakland on March 10th beginning at 7:30 pm! AoT is a worldwide event series featuring public, accessible, astronomy-themed talks on everything from the Big Bang to black holes. This month, we have two excellent talks lined up: First, Natasha Abrams (UC Berkeley) will discuss the variety of techniques astronomers use to observe and study black holes. Then we'll hear from Mahlet Shiferaw (Stanford) about the "cosmic web" of dark matter that shapes the Universe!
Two Pitchers is all ages and pet friendly, and just a few minutes' walk from the 19th St BART station. Free to attend – can’t wait to see you there!
