About this Event
This event is free to all Bett 2026 attendees and is aimed at providing UK educators with more information and helpful tips on how to effectively use assistive technology to empower learners.
We will be joined by some highly experience panellists and will host two sessions each with a different focus. The first will explore the use of assistive technology in the classroom and the second will focus on current UK policies around assistive technology.
With the new emphasis on assistive technology in education this is a great opportunity to discover more and gain practical insights about how you can use AT in education to benefit all users.

Martin has a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in how assistive technology can be used to enhance education.

Info: Our panelists for this session will be Annamarie Hassall MBE and Kathryn Stowell. Annamarie, is the Chief Executive of Nasen and brings expert knowledge across a range of regulatory and statutory service areas in education and social care and vast experience in strategic leadership of education, social care, early education. Kathryn Stowell, featured on the Bett EdTech 10 list and Head of CENMAC, a unique outreach & advisory service offering equipment loans, training, & ongoing support, is also directly involved with the new pilot scheme for AT lending libraries.
