Dr. Fathali Moghaddam is a Professor of Psychology at Georgetown University and a globally recognized expert in political psychology and intergroup relations. His research focuses on the psychological underpinnings of authoritarianism, cultural dynamics, and the interplay between individuals and societal structures. An accomplished author, his latest book, The Psychology of Multiculturalism, Assimilation, And Omniculturalism: Managing Diversity in a Global Context, explores innovative approaches to managing diversity. Dr. Moghaddam’s work continues to influence scholars, policymakers, and leaders seeking to address pressing social and political challenges worldwide.

Tara Bahrampour, a Fellowship Coach with the OpEd Project, is a journalist and writer who spent two decades at The Washington Post covering topics such as aging, demography, immigration, education, and war. She has also written for publications including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Travel + Leisure, and O, and is the author of the memoir To See and See Again: A Life in Iran and America (FSG, 1999). She has taught journalism at New York University and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs in Tbilisi, Georgia. Tara joined the OpEd Project team because she is inspired by its mission to expand the range of voices shaping public discourse. In her spare time, she is learning to play the cello.Â
