Artist in Residence - Vibrance: Exploration of Black Women Healing

Vibrance: Exploration of Black Women Healing is a multimedia exhibition that centers the emotional landscapes of Black women through the lens of mental health and healing. Inspired by my own healing journey and the resilience of the women who raised me, Vibrance BW illuminates the many ways Black women express, release, and reclaim themselves through healing. The “superwoman” cloak long imposed upon Black women is gently unraveled here, making space for softness, vulnerability, and renewal. Through each story, Vibrance BW celebrates the courage it takes to rest, to feel, and to become whole on our own terms, and in full vibrance.
