MURALS & MOSAICS OF NEW YORK CITY
EXPLORING THE PUBLIC ART & HIDDEN ARTFUL GEMS OF MANHATTAN
FEB 26 @ 11AM -12PM, $40 pp
Have a virtual adventure with Debbie Wells as your guide through the NYC art scene made specifically for the public to enjoy. In addition to world-class museums and art galleries, the streets of the city offer art lovers a wonderful array of murals and mosaics. In this webinar, we will discover art in many unexpected spots from subway stations, Grand Central Station, the High Line, and Central Park to universities, hotels, playgrounds and more. Surprisingly, a lot of the art throughout Manhattan was created by famous artists like Marc Chagall, Keith Haring, Chuck Close, Maxfield Parrish, Al Hirschfeld, Diego Rivera, Louis Comfort Tiffany and more. Some work is for all to see and some are hidden gems in plain sight. For more information, visit www.artfulbuzz.com
