From April 1 through April 4, the Brick Store Museum proudly presents Art Blooms!, a special four-day event where the community is invited to witness the museum’s galleries transformed by live floral interpretations of pieces in its art collection.The centerpiece of this year’s celebration is the museum’s newest exhibition, “Technicolor Bloom: Color and Form in Springtime.” This curated selection of artworks from the permanent collection captures the raw energy, beauty, and fresh beginnings of the season.
To elevate the experience, local community florists, floral designers, museum volunteers, and garden clubs have been invited to select specific works from the exhibition and create "interpretive" arrangements. These floral displays act as a living dialogue with the art, translating brushstrokes and sculptures into petals and greenery.
• Four Days Only: The floral displays are ephemeral and will be on view from Wednesday, April 1, through Saturday, April 4.
• Community Creativity: Featuring designs from professional florists and talented community members.
• Accessible to All: Entry to Art Blooms! is included with the cost of regular museum admission.
Museum Members are invited to a special Members Meetup on Thursday, April 2, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This special evening offers a viewing of the floral displays, providing members the opportunity to mingle and discuss the works with fellow art and garden enthusiasts.
