Join us on Monday, April 6th at 6 p.m. at Kennebunk Free Library, 112 Main Street in downtown Kennebunk! Bring your poems, short stories, monologues, songs, jokes, visual art and accompanying craft talks, and more! Cake and wine will be available to celebrate Open Heart Open Mic’s 1st Birthday as well as National Poetry Month!There are 10 slots, and sign-up is first-come, first-served. Writers and artists may share up to five minutes of their work. Open Hearts Open Mic is a community event to celebrate art in its many forms with open hearts and open minds. Admission is always free and open to the public.
Kacy Fallon, organizer and host, earned her MFA in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University. Her work has appeared in The Village, PANK Magazine, 50-Word Stories, and Boston Poetry Magazine, among others. An adjunct professor of English at Endicott College, Kacy lives in Kennebunk with her husband and three young children.
