About this Event

We are delighted to invite you all to the continuation of the Conscious Living Project activities this year! Thank you all Leith community and Leith Chooses 2025 team for giving us this wonderful opportunity!

Join us for a free mental health and community workshop to make your own art project over two weeks! Attend both sessions to learn how to make these wall hangings, explore Pirlig park looking for natural elements and enjoy cup of tea! On the first class, we will create one or two pieces on handlooms, and on the other class we will explore Pilrig park to look for natural elements that we want to add on our pieces.

It is difficult to get out from home these winter days, but it is so important to spend time around nature, breathe fresh air, have a walk, and it can make wonders to our mental health. Hopefully, this workshop will be a little motivation and encouragement!

Dates:

17th February (Tuesday) 4:15pm - 7:15 pm at Macdonald Library

24th February (Tuesday) 4:00 pm - 7:15 pm, meeting point at Pilrig Park (Meeting point here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/mi18JgoeSv67ESq38) where we will collect natural elements to use on our wall hangings, and walk towards the Macdonald Library

All materials are provided, so just bring yourself and excitement :)
